All steel magnetic shield systems are specially designed for magnetic fringe field containment and scan volume homogeneity refinement. They are fabricated to meet or exceed the manufacturers site specific shield requirements, are typically constructed of low carbon annealed steel, and can weigh between 25 and 250 tons.

MRI Corporation has installed more heavy magnetic shield systems than any other company in the US. These rooms are available with extended 20 year warranties.
